PATRICK CARPENTER | Licensed Architect

About me:
I love exploring with my family, discovering new places and experiencing different cultures. I grew up with an older brother, spending our days fishing, sleeping in tents, and building campfires. These experiences sparked my lifelong love of the outdoors and adventure. These days, I enjoy exploring Colorado with my wife, our two boys, and our two dogs. Some of my favorite moments are watching my boys discover the outdoors for themselves, especially helping my oldest learn to ski. When I’m not outside, you’ll often find me in the garage, where I can easily lose track of time woodworking and building things by hand. I find a lot of satisfaction in creating something useful, whether volunteering with Habitat for Humanity or turning a stack of 2x4s into functional furniture for our home. I have a passion for working on beautiful, high-end residential projects and love the combination of craftsmanship, creativity, and problem-solving that comes with each one. Someday, I would love to put those skills toward building an adventure cabin of my own tucked away in the woods.
Volunteering:
Habitat for Humanity, Christmas in October
Mentoring:
I enjoy being available to the younger staff and helping them learn how to review drawings and create a high quality of documentation. I always encourage professional development such as taking the Architectural Registration Exams and continuing education.
